This 7 week session combines classical yoga postures and breathing techniques with restorative and relaxation yoga to give you a restful experience and a good night's sleep! (YES PLEASE!) This one hour class is designed for you to indulge in a little "Me" time and is recommended for all levels of experience; beginner to advanced yogis are welcome!

Kundalini yoga is a form of yoga that involves breathing exercises, and repetitive poses. Its purpose is to activate your Kundalini energy, or shakti. This is an energy that is located at the base of your spine. As Kundalini yoga awakens this energy, you will enhance your awareness and help move past your ego while learning how to stay in the present moment. This is a fairly fast paced class that never stops moving. Sometimes, Vinayasa yoga is referred to as "Power Yoga" or "Flow Yoga". It incorporates many flow sequences that move from one pose to the next and includes lunging, bending, stretching developing strength, flexibility, and balance. For those who like an extra challenge during their yoga practice, this class is for you.

This 7 week session is designed specifically for mothers who are expecting. Poses that are safe during pregnancy during all trimesters and important breathing techniques will be explored. Techniques to help ease the labour and delivery process & increase relaxation will be the emphasis of this class.

This 7 week session incorporates an introduction to yoga for moms and their newborns up to 17 months. (For those older than 17 months, check out our Parent / Tot Dance classes). Bond with your little one while making new mom friends and enjoy the benefit of movement, increasing flexibility in both you and your little one and have so much fun while doing it! Poses that are interactive and engaging as well as different relaxation techniques will be explored in this class.

This 7 week session incorporates an introduction to yoga, mindfulness, awareness and helpful tips for achieving relaxation while engaging children in a series of classical yoga postures, yoga games, crafts and more. This is the perfect introductory class to get your child hooked on yoga!
We also run yoga for kids at our "Dance & Yoga Days of Summer Camp!"

This 7 week session is specifically designed to combat teenage angst using yoga as the ultimate stress buster. Mindfulness, awareness, techniques for calming nerves and getting a restful sleep are some of the many skills learned in this program. This class gives teens the tools they need to acquire a good night's rest and to make anxiety provoking situations more manageable. Students will also practice good technique and posture which can be applied to their dance practice and everyday physical and mental health.
We also run yoga for teens at our "Dance & Yoga Days of Summer Camp!"
